Todd first experienced the Non Dual teachings of Ramesh Balsekar at a talk in Los Angeles in September of 1987. He later met with Ramesh privately for several sessions in Bombay in the summer of 1991. At the end of the last session Ramesh said, “Go back to the US and get a job you have been here long enough.” Todd kept in correspondence with Ramesh through letters for the next five years (see letters below). In 1998, he attended a weekend talk by Wayne Liqourman, a disciple of Ramesh’s. Todd continued his Non Dual studies with Wayne from 1998 until 1999. In April of 2012, Wayne invited Todd to speak with him at a weekend retreat in New York City. Wayne wrote in an Advaita Fellowship newsletter, “You should all come to New York City, my dear Todd will be giving one of the talks. Todd has a very different style from me, just as my style is very different from Ramesh’s. Regardless of style, the substance and spirit remains the same… This is a new chapter in
the saga of the Living Teaching. It will be interesting to see what happens!”.
Since that time Todd has spoken at various venues throughout the US. He is a gentle teacher of Non Duality and speaks in a simple and direct way. He is the author of Thorns for a Seeker. Advaita Press. The book has been translated from English to Spanish and French. He welcomes all and encourages anyone to bring questions to weekend retreats, one on one sessions, and
online talks where there is the opportunity to meet like-minded friends.
Todd lives with his wife Susan and dog Daisy in Cincinnati, Ohio. If you are interested hosting Todd for a talk, send an email at peace@nondualliving.org or visit the contact page.
